Christmas Bauble

Today to share is one of the projects I made for the Christmas Edition of the Magnolia DooHickey which is out now..

Here is my step by step on how I made this Christmas Bauble
 Step 1
Using the Snowflake DooHickey Cut out 6 times using a thick card.
Using a 4cm diameter Polystyrene ball, adhere each snowflake evenly and allow to dry.
 Step 3
Paint the whole ball using Gesso and dry thoroughly.
 Step 4
Once dried paint with Vintage Chalk paint and again wait until it has dried then apply a thin layer of wax.
 Step 5
Add pearls to the center of each snowflake and smaller pearls to the points.
Step 6
For the Christmas Fern using the long DooHickey Die, cut out with green cardstock and run a small amount of glue along the straight edge

 Step 7
Now twist from the top all along the straight edge and you should have a fern branch.
Step 8
Cut out flowers with flower die and add berries and decorate bauble with foliage.
Add Seam Binding to hang and a decorative embellishment in bottom.

As always the dies are amazing, Im sure you will LOVE them.
I will call back tomorrow with a closer look of my other two projects in the background.

Christmas CandleTilda

I hope you are all well and enjoying your Sunday so far....

So far its looking promising today and the sun is shining,
To share today is a Christmas Card.
Ive made a Christmas 3D star. There are lots of tutorials for these on Youtube.
I was'nt planning on using a Tilda this time but she somehow ended up there after I asked my daughter with or without!!! Trouble is I had to mix the colours to match my colour scheme! Anyway I got there in the end.
Ive painted Christmas Candle Tilda with Distress Inks.
For the flowers and leaves I used Doohickeys.
I just love making my own Pointsettias with the Pointsettia Doohickey.
Papers are PionChristmas in Norway
I wish you all a wonderful weekend

Free Spirit Tilda

 Hello There
Well I think we are in for a sunny Sunday here in Yorkshire. We have beautiful blue skies.

Today to share is my card for this weeks theme over at Live and Love Crafts Blog which is 'Puttin On The Ritz'
I thought Free Spirit Tilda was perfect for this theme, though Ive glitzed her up a little with a Frantage Head dress and Pearls.
She is also available on the Magnolia DT Blog
For once I have left the background clean and white!! Yes your not seeing things.

The flowers I made myself.
I'm just addicted to the Rolled Roses. The larger flower is made using the DooHickey Peony and the leaves Rose leaf.

Surf Tilda

 Hey There

Oh what am I like!!I forgot to post this card on this blog!!!durrrr
I made this a couple of weeks ago for the LLC Challenge.

Its really a summer card which we are grasping the remains of here in the UK...It was so misty here this morning and looking very Autumnal. But you never know...we could be in for a Indian Summer in September....I Wish!!

For my card Ive used Surf Tilda from the WWW Collection. Ive been itching to use her all Summer but just havent had the time.
Then Sandy sent me the gorgeous Dolphin charm, which was just perfect.
Tilda is coloured with Distress Reinkers.
Do you like my little Beach Huts. I made this using the DooHickey small House
Other DooHickeys are Surfboard Tag, Flags and Bubbles.
Papers are Pion Design
Thankyou for stopping by today. I wish you a beautiful week ahead

Tilda On A Road Trip

 Hello There
I hope you are all ok
Today to share is a holiday themed card.
Once again Ive used the gorgeous Maja papers Summer Crush
Ive come up with the idea of a holiday 'Road Trip!'
Ive used one of the new sitting Hippy Tilda's from the new collection and the old car from a earlier collection. They work perfect with the Summer Crush papers.
Once again I am inspired by the film Grease. All Im singing in my head right now is 'Stranded at the drive in, branded a fool........ha ha
Ive coloured with Distress Ink but instead of my usual Vintage Photo for the skin Ive used Walnut Stain to give a more vintage sepia effect.
Dies used are DooHickeys Rose Leaf, Sign, Heart Tag and Flower from the Celebration Edition DooHickey book
The rest Ive listed below from the Live and Love Crafts Shop
